Since its inception in the 1940s, The Barnet Society has organised a variety of events to stimulate, educate, agitate and entertain its Members.
We hold a series of talks, walks, and visits throughout the year, as well as a regular question-and-answer session with the MP for Chipping Barnet and an AGM in May or June.
The Society will also help publicise events organised by local groups and organisations.

Barnet Medieval Festival
Barnet Medieval Festival returns to Barnet Elizabethans RFC in Byng Road on 8th and 9th June.
This family-friendly event commemorating the Battle of Barnet of 1471 will feature re-enactments of battles from the Wars of the Roses, displays of medieval firepower, living history and music, have a go archery, a medieval market, community stalls, food and drink.
Free entry for children, £2 for adults.
Please walk or use public transport where possible as there is very limited parking on site.
