Jo Collins & Friends for Simon Cooper

Join Jo Collins and Friends in a large in celebration of Simon Cooper.

On Sunday 23 April Jo Collins and Friends will be taking over the Rayne Theatre for a special ‘supersized’ evening to pay tribute to, and in celebration of, Chickenshed friend and drummer Simon Cooper, who passed away last year.

Simon’s drumming skills were a driving force of much of Chickenshed’s music for many years, and he was a mainstay of our Jo Collins nights. It is only appropriate then that, alongside their usual eclectic covers from pop to soul, funk to folk, Jo and special guests will perform some of Simon’s favourites - including perhaps a smattering of Status Quo!

One of Simon’s many ambitions was to create ‘Jo Collins and Friends go Large’ and fill the Rayne auditorium with music, laughter and fun. With a cafe atmosphere, and the usual Brothers Grill table service, the night will do just Simon would have said..."Let’s rock!”
